@adele @theresmiling Considering the current state of things I’m not even sure if that’s a real contradiction. We don’t really have a free sovereign option on the phone side, at least not if we don’t want to live in fear of essential apps not working at every update.
For the phone we have to choose between one side that allows a bit more freedom but is also the most aggressive surveillance capitalist ever, and the other side that is a tad more user respecting but is also a control freak when it comes to the stuff the user is supposed to own. Not particularly a great choice…
