@adele It’s not really a betrayal so much as it is a compromise. Fighting every battle all the time is exhausting, so we conserve our energy and fight the ones we are able to fight when we are able to fight them. It might seem hypocritical, but were you to try living without any contradictions, you’d have to forgo many modern conveniences, stop using electricity, and grow your own food.
