As a follower of the #Fediverse, what kind of publications do you prefer when the author needs more than 500 characters to express him/herself?

@daj @adele The one thing about a thread of posts is it allows to reply to specific parts of it. That's nice. But overall I really dislike it too. And -- if the instance supports formatting -- you can just quote the parts you want to reply to.

For instance, I like pluralistics posts, but they're often 50+ posts threads and I just don't want to read that much text in this format.

@adele I've selected option 1 and option 3.

I generally bookmark interesting things that I want to read later but having at hand on a chain of toots makes me want to browse the chain right away.

Btw a blog entry can be more nice, with proper formatting and images in the right places.
It seems that on Mastodon we cannot create formatted posts (and it's a pity!).
