#SmolFedi 1.0.7 manages user defined Lists of profiles. A new entry in the menu for each list. And possibility to add/remove a profile in lists.
(at the moment, you can only use existing lists, nothing to create or delete one)
I think #SmolFedi will be my preferred #Fediverse client on my smartphone and my old tablet. Very lightweight, fast, useful. I wonder why I should use something else.
Let me know which missing feature would be a must have.
(if it had poll editor, I’d propose some :-D )

Anthropic's latest #AI model identifies thousands of 0-day #vulnerabilities in every major operating system and web browser. #Claude Mythos Preview sparks race to fix critical bugs, some unpatched for decades.
The difference here is that Claude Mythos is also able to create a working exploit 72% of the time, while previous models had a really hard time with it.
This makes me worry and wonder how we will prevent a #cybersecurity apocalypse.
Today we’re remembering when ACB’s Michael Babcock and Kolby Garrison attended the 2026 CSUN Assistive Technology Conference. While there, they had the opportunity to explore a range of innovative assistive technologies, including the latest devices from Orbit Research.
Pictured are Kolby (left) and Michael (right) trying out the Optima, an all-in-one Braille laptop computer. Other braille devices are arranged on the table at the Orbit booth.

@adele seems to work :)
There seems to be a problem that requires the user to login twice. This is a know problem, not specific to smolfedi.
Cannot upload images (?), but here is a snapshot of smolfedi loaded in Dillo: https://dillo-browser.org/smolfedi.png. Sorry for the low quality, this is from my Wayland test setup.
Sorry @dillo I just want to know if this patch is active in dillo 3.2.0 (on archlinux)

because I encounter oauth registration with smolfedi
@adele now also tested with snac, fwiw ;-) nice work!
New version of #SmolFedi, a lightweight, no-JavaScript Fediverse client written in PHP. It respects #smolweb specs.
It works fine with all basic browser such as #netsurf So you can access Fediverse on #retro computer have a basic browser (need cookies feature).
You can install it on a simple web server with php8.x / pdo_sqlite / php_curl
https://codeberg.org/adele/smolfedi
Test it on https://smolfedi.pollux.casa/ and log to all your fediverse instances (tested on #gotosocial and #mastodon). You can connect to multiple account and switch between them easily.
Test of toot with images using #SmolFedi
I try a new Fediverse client using only HTML and basic CSS (no JS). It is written in PHP
Inspired by Germany's #DiDay ("digital independence day") and the Danish #DanmarkSkifter, the Netherlands now has #DoeiDag ("bye day"), every first Sunday of the month. 🔥🇳🇱
DoeiDag is a montly day to say goodbye to big tech and to try open alternatives. It's organized by the good folks of @doeidag

A baby starts wailing on the train. This woman pulls out her phone, silences the alarm, and takes the pill.
I’m screaming. 😂
Web eco-design
Best practice guidelines
Our digital uses already represent 40% of our annual sustainable budget, both in terms of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and the depletion of the last reserves of non-renewable resources (abiotic resources). That's 10 times too much!
Eco-designing digital services allows us to better control and limit their environmental and health impacts...

New #Blogpost!
I prefer to read (and to write) an unpolished, human website.
This post is unpolished, says nothing new, doesn't take into account every angle, and it's even kinda rushed, but it's mine, so anyway.

For many people, the #Linux vs #Windows vs #Mac debate is a privilege — it assumes you can choose. But working with the Computer Upcycle Project, I've seen the real choice is often Linux vs no computer at all.
~95% of donated computers are "too old" for Windows 11 or macOS. Linux installs on them anyway, adding 10+ years of life to machines #Microsoft and #Apple called trash.
This isn't Linux vs Windows. It's Linux vs e-waste.
